I've got you COVERED!

Here's my mock up of the cover for this Zine.  I might tweak the background colour a little bit, but I yoinked the rest of them from the original 8-bit game, so I have to keep those.  So far we've got a great selection of cartoonist interested in this project.  I haven't received any submissions yet, but it's still early...really early.  There has been mention of a "Crab Man" comic by Jessie Mead, so we'll just have to wait and see, won't we?

Submissions!

That's right, friends, the time has finally come to create the MEGA MANTHOLOGY!  What is Mega Manthology?, you might ask, well I am here to quell any quanderies, and so let me begin.  Mega Manthology is a comics anthology dedicated entirely to the Mega Man video game series.  I'm looking to put this book together sometime before the MoCCA 2011, which is the beginning of next summer I believe.  I'm looking for submissions, the guidelines are below...

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES!

  • Comics!  I'm looking for strait up comics about Mega Man or any character from the Mega Man series (X, Zero, Legends, and Battle Network included).  I'm not looking for comics about people playing the video game, but rather comics about the characters in the games.

  • Final print size will be 8.5" by 5.5" so plan your pages accordingly

  • All pages are either to be in Black and White or Grayscale.

  • Submissions should be no longer than 6 pages.

  • All submissions should be hand drawn, no sprites please!

  • Submissions should be well thought out, well written, and drawn well too.

  • Submissions should be kept at a PG-13ish level...unless you come up with something really funny.

  • Please e-mail submissions as 72dpi jpegs to aucoinmatt@gmail.com , when they're ready for print I'll ask you to e-mail the Hi Res file.  Thanks!
With that in mind, sit down and blast some bad robots to get your ideas flowing.  Anything goes: gags, humor, drama, romance, ACTION!, or stuff that you've thought of that I've never even thought of before.
